Online Application Form to Get Free Tablet

I recently found a free tablet application form on the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) website.

In this blog, I will be sharing How to fill out an online Application form and get a free government tablet.

Note: The ACP program is running out of funds and will stop accepting new applications and enrollments on February 7, 2024. Consumers must be approved and enrolled with a service provider by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 7 to receive the ACP benefit.

About the ACP

The Affordable Connectivity Program, offered by the FCC, aims to ensure that households have affordable access to broadband for various essential purposes such as work, education, healthcare, and more.

This program offers a discount of up to $30 per month for internet services for households that meet the eligibility criteria. For households residing on qualifying Tribal lands, the benefit extends to a discount of up to $75 per month.

Additionally, eligible households have the opportunity to receive a one-time discount of up to $100 when purchasing a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers. To avail of this device discount, households must contribute more than $10 but less than $50 towards the purchase price.

It’s important to note that the Affordable Connectivity Program allows for only one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

Who Is Eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program?

Households can qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) if their income falls within or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Alternatively, eligibility can also be established if a member of the household meets any of the following criteria:

  1. Participation in specific assistance programs, including:
    • SNAP
    • Medicaid
    • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
    • Federal Pell Grant
    • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program
    • WIC
    • Lifeline
    • Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers)
    • Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811
    • Public Housing
    • Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
    • Tribal TANF
    • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
  2. Residing on Qualifying Tribal lands

1. How to Fill Online Application Form to Get Free Tablet

At the start of the online application for the Affordable Connectivity Program. we share information and tips to help you get started.

  • The personal information you enter will be used to see if you qualify.
  • In this section, fill out your information. first, enter your home address.
  • you’ll enter your Email address and Phone number.
  • On the next page, you’ll be asked to confirm if you want us to check your identity using the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  • Using your Social Security number may speed up the process and reduce the need to provide extra documentation. If you want to provide an official document or use a tribal I.D. number. Select No.
  • And this example we’ll select Yes, Use the last four digits of my Social Security number.
  • Next, you’ll enter the last four digits of your Social Security number.
  • On the screen, you’ll enter your first and last name. When you enter your full name. Please use the name you have on your official documents. not a nickname.
  • Then enter your date of birth.
  • On this page, you’ll be asked if you participate in Medicaid or the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as SNAP.
  • If you don’t participate in either of these programs, you may still be eligible.
  • We’ll just need to ask a few more questions and this example we’ll select. Yes, I think I participate in Medicaid and or SNAP.
  • The next screen will ask you to review your information to make sure it’s correct.
  • Here, you’ll have the option to make any edits in case corrections are needed.
  • After viewing your information and the following consent statement by clicking check my eligibility.
  • You’re agreeing that the information you provided will be used to check if you’re eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program benefit.
  • You’ll find out right away if you qualify or if we need more information to save the information you already entered.
  • You’ll need to create an account if you already have an account. We’ll ask you to sign in.
  • In this example, we’re going to create an account. Your email address will automatically be listed, but you also have the option to enter. And a unique I.D.
  • The next step is to type in your password and type it again to confirm it and select the I’m not a robot box.
  • After you sign in will help you provide any extra information to see if you qualify.
  • After you enter the requested information, you’ll be taken to this page. you’ll need to read each statement carefully.
  • After you’ve completed reviewing the statement, you’ll sign the application by entering your first and last name.
  • After submitting your application, you’ll see a status update. This is the page. You’ll see if your application is approved.
  • If you’re approved, your next step is to contact a participating Internet and tablet company and tell them you’ve been approved for the Affordable Connectivity Program. check out the list of providers below.

Tell them you’d like to sign up to start receiving your benefit, then give them this information below.

2. Send the Free Tablet Application Form Through Mail
